Seeing Spots

There's just something about polka dotted frocks that I can't quite put my finger on.  Some of my favorite polka dotted pieces started popping up on runways during fall 2009 (peruse the fashion archives for looks by Maison Martin Margiela, Emanuel Ungaro, or Chloe), but I've always been reminded of spring when wearing spotted pieces.  What might not be visible in these photos are the irradescent white polka dots, that seem to give this vintage blouse the perfect amount of sheen.  With this added bit of glitz, this blouse seems to create the perfect balance to wear with my drab winter frocks.
