Happy Halloween 2017

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! It's the best day of the year for me! I'm currently sipping coffee from my monster mug & editing photos in my spiderweb leggings, all while some spooky cupcakes are baking away in the oven.  It's another rainy & cold morning, so it looks like halloween-themed shows & snuggles with the girls will be all we get up to until it's time for Trick-or-Treat tonight...

The Eve of All Hallows Eve

So if you've been following this blog since it's origin, you're well aware of how much I LOVE Halloween.  More accurately, I love everything about Fall & Halloween is just an added bonus of my favorite season.  This year is even more special, since it's Sadie's first Halloween & Zoey is obviously much more aware of it this time as well.  Here are a few photos to help get you psyched for tomorrow...

Time Well Spent

Time well spent on Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.  The Mr. has played in a ball tourney on this holiday weekend for as long as I can remember, but this year was a no-go due to lack of teams entered in their division.  We hosted a lovely dinner for 3, snuggled the kiddos, & enjoyed some football with pumpkin-flavored beer.  The perfect Thanksgiving in my opinion...

Grace & Glory

This dress is the perfect transitional piece from summer-fall.  The colors? Fall perfection.  It's lightweight material makes it ideal for layering & I've already worn it like 50 times in a ton of different ways.  My sole purchase from the Nordstrom sale & am I ever glad I was lucky enough to nab this version (I have a lighter hued version of the same dress from last year)...

Holding Onto Summer...

Photo Friday: Sadie's First Trip to Iowa
