Photo Friday: Baby Moon Weekend Getaway

Most people jet off to somewhere warm & tropical on their baby moon.  However, I couldn't resist an opportunity to go back to my favorite city & just reflect on everything that's going on in life right now.  I turn 30 in just over a month & a month after that, our little girl will be here! It's insane how much has happened in the 6 years since I moved from Chicago to Canada & I couldn't be more grateful...

An overnight stay in Buffalo before an early morning flight to Chicago (PJ's: Target)

Anytime you can fly Southwest, you should do it...best airline in my opinion :)

Hello, Chicago!

Grabbed lunch at Salt & Pepper Diner in Wrigleyville (complete with chocolate shakes of course)

Looking down from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Building (now called 360 Chicago)

My travel companions had beers at the top, I had a PSL :)

Met a friend for a few drinks (& a rootbeer for me) at Jake Melnick's

Took full advantage of the extra deep bathtub in our hotel room...

Wandering around the city will never get old for me...(taken outside The Art Institute)

Dylan's Candy Bar was definitely something to see...

Finally trying Shake Shack (it did not disappoint)

Celebrating Birthday's & an Anniversary at RPM Italian
