A Comfortable Twist
Once considered a fashion taboo, sweatpants have undoubtedly made a comeback. Debuted on the runways last Spring, this uber-chic spin on athletic wear is simple to achieve. The new tapered leg design not only creates a slimming effect, but begs to be paired with sky-high heels. Paired with a knit tee & comfy blazer, this look is comfortable as hell. Let's just say I have definitely got my money's worth out of the pair that I own....

Grey Scale
Ahhh, Minimalism...the whole 'less is more' approach to fashion. Just like my outfit for today, Minimalism features clean lines, simple silhouettes, & a neutral, monochromatic palette. Yawn-worthy? Not in the least. Neutrals are silently striking & always on trend.

Ms. Poesy
In the spirit of Paris Fashion week & since she seems so lovable on Gossip Girl this season, I wanted to learn more about French actress Clemence Poesy. Turns out she's becoming somewhat of a fashion icon, although some find her style yawn-worthy. Her approach to style never seems fussy or complicated. From what I have seen, she seems to stick to a neutral color palette & restrains from over-accessorizing. Not to mention, she has insanely blue eyes...

Everybody WANG chung tonight. . . .
I received my Alexander Wang top (purchased from Ebay) in the mail Friday & couldn't be more excited. Although it's from the 2007 Fall RTW collection, it somehow seems to still fit into trend. I have never been one that is bothered by wearing out-dated designer pieces even though, according to the most fashionable, it's heavily frowned upon. Fashion week is still in heavy rotation world wide, so I have been glued to my computer, watching shows on Elle.com as they become available.
