Inspiration: Plaid

Plaid is definitely one of the A/W 2013 trends that so many of us fashionistas will play into, most likely due to the fact that most of us own at least one piece of it in our wardrobes.  Opt for something a bit more unconventional, say a full-length coat or a plaid dress, or take above mentioned existing plaid and pair it with black leather, boots, & chunky metal jewelry.  Here's some inspiration on how to style plaid this fall...

On Layering...

I needed an extra pop of color this morning & the addition of an old tissue turtleneck from J.Crew seemed to do the trick.  I haven't given up on going sockless just yet, but something tells me that time is right around the corner...
