How Do You Do?

The very last outfit post with the bump, which makes me a little sad. Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful to have my body back to myself & way more energy (even though sleep is limited). It’s just a little weird to finalize this stage of life...no more making babies, from here on out.

I wore this to meet the Easter bunny with the girls after we first moved here. It was a great excuse to spoil them a little (shopping and lunch were also involved). It’s been crazy windy & rainy so far this spring, making outfit posts a rarity these days. Fingers crossed warmer weather reaches us soon...

Make Me Blush

Wow, time is flying...it’s hard to believe it’s been a few weeks since I’ve shared anything fashion-related! We’ve been soaking up all these newborn snuggles & making sure these big sisters of his are still being spoiled. I have a few posts left with this bump of mine, which I already miss.

These sneakers are one of my favs, especially for spring. The color is perfect & im excited to get more use out of them now that the swelling in my feet/ankles has disapated. This tunic? Also a huge hit post-partum due to its coverage & it’s light weight fabric. Popped on my new fav earrings for the season & some white denim to finish off this look...

Kiss, Kiss

This tunic was my Valentine's gift from the Mr. (I totally buy my own gifts & he wraps them...anyone else do this?) & I've gotten a ton of use out of it so far, especially lately with the weather settling down. It's sold out a few times, but I happened to track it down on eBay for about half the price! I quickly paired this with my new fav taupe ankle booties & these perfect white tassel earrings I picked up on our last Target trip.

Today marks 38 weeks prego for this mama-of-three-to-be & I'm just playing the waiting game...jk, we're trying to just locate everything we're going to need for baby & anything we'll need to keep sane once he's here! We're getting down to the wire & I'm getting so excited to meet this peanut...

It's Been A Wreck-Me Week

It's been a wreck-me week....understatement of the century! Sorry for the lack of fashion-related material on any of my platforms this past week. We've been so busy with the move that I've hardly worn real pants (aka anything but leggings or yoga pants) or make-up.  There are boxes everywhere & nothing is fully finished, a little tough on this mama-to-be that seems to have entered full-on nesting mode!  We said goodbye to our first home yesterday & wrapped up our lives in our old city.  It was bittersweet, stressful, & a little bit scary.  It feels good to have everything in one place for the first time in months & to begin a new routine, all together.

This outfit is the last from the small capsule collection I had left at the old house.  I am happy to report that I have been fully reunited with my entire wardrobe, minus the major purge I did both before & after the move.  Again with this cape? I know, I know...but it's that good.  I couldn't resist pairing it with this blue tunic & these already-worn-so-much ankle booties.

Spring Showers

The perfect outfit for a rainy day.  Also, at this point in my pregnancy with this baby...slides are EVERYTHING! I recently hacked off a couple of inches on these jeans & I love it...I think I might be ready to move on from rolled hems to frayed ones...

Today did not start off the way I imagined...our biggest girl is home sick with Dada, who is trying to get everything he can done around the house & our littlest girl is at her last day of daycare.  We took timbits to celebrate & she is really enjoying being there by herself.  I continue to wind down in my position, like I just sent off what felt like a million goodbye emails & it is just a tad bit sad.

Goodbye To The Way Things Were

Phew, another crazy morning in the books! Switching utilities over between two different cities that are hours apart requires a little more legwork than I previously estimated.  All done & ready to go for this weekend though, so I have at least accomplished something today.  I have been saying some goodbyes to the way things were already more than anticipated, but I'm still left feeling oh so excited for this move.  Most of all, us girls are excited to see the Mr. each & every night!

I discovered this sweater while packing up my closet & was thrilled! It has been tough to find items long enough to cover the bump & it was a happy surprise.  I cannot wait to 'shop' in my own closet again after baby boy makes his appearance & style more rediscovered pieces I too found packing...

It'll Be Alright

Loads of big moments happening today...this baby is 36 weeks baked, it's the final week of work for me, & we sign the final papers for the house this afternoon! No big deal, right? If I'm being 100% honest, I'm freaking out just a little bit!  I found a quote in high school that basically said 'if something excites you a little more than scares you, it's worth doing' & I have sorta used it in every major decision I've made in my adult life.  So, here we go again, using a piece of wisdom that is so simple but also so significant...

Today is just about being comfy, but also looking put together.  I am so sore from just going nonstop all weekend that I feel like I ran a million miles & these boots are the comfiest pair I own, if you can believe it! I loved the idea of a white-washed outfit with a few statement pieces, the faux fur & over-the-knee boots were just what this outfit needed to take it up a notch...

THE Best Part of March

The best part of March for me, is March Madness.  Am I an avid college basketball fan? No & to be honest, I haven't watched a single game up until yesterday.  I love March Madness & the excitement of building my bracket.  The girls & I tossed on as much Iowa gear as we could today (aka Herky clothes as Zo calls it) to cheer on our Hawkeyes today!

But Maybe We Will

Luckily, my head cold has decided it was finally time to move on & I'm feeling so, so much better (aka extra energy to work on some blog posts).  This outfit, combined of a few items I had in storage that I recently sorted through.  I originally purchased this little tiered dress for a country concert a few years back, only to be disappointed when it arrived at it being much too short to wear as anything other than a tunic top.  It never laid right until this big 'ole baby boy bump appeared & voila...instant maternity fav!  I've layered it a few different uber casual ways on weekends, but decided to give it a go on here.

I Need a Change of Scene

Phew, another busy weekend in the books! We're in desperate need for a change of scene & we get one in just two short weeks!!! We've been so busy packing that yesterday, we decided to just take it easy.  The girls napped & this mama got to snuggle up in bed with my 3.5 fav guys (the Mr., both pups, & the bumpcake)....it was amazing & totally what I needed after a crazy productive Saturday.

Again, totally still working with a few things left unpacked wardrobe wise.  I'm having fun finding new ways to wear the same old things, especially with limited items.  I liked the combination of textures for this outfit & it only works with these otk boots (otherwise this dress is way too short with my bump).
