Photo Friday: Cold Weather Recap

I’m ok sharing these photos, as it’s not our current view anymore. The snow has finally gone & I've even opened the windows a few days this week! It’s officially the return of park season, also known as patio season for toddlers. Speaking of parks, we’re heading there this morning after pancakes...

Woke up to this frosty scene one morning & found it beautiful :)
Soccer-aunt attire (Uggs, Shein scarf, F21 thermal & cardi)
Watching my oldest niece play indoor scorer, she's a rockstar!
A glass of Apothic Red for the win :)
Mementos from the baby shower cleaned outta my purse (earrings: F21)
The Mr. bought me this sweatshirt & I've worn it sooooo much already (via Winner's)
Beau's Tread Lager, my new go-to when it comes to what's on tap :)
Easy outfit for a quick lunch at above mentioned Beertown (Coat & Tunic: F21/ Boots: Lulu's/ Scarf: Piace Place)

The Back Roads Home

I can finally announce that all family members have been rid of the sickness that took over our house last week.  It hit the girls first, then me, & finally, the Mr.  We used two boxes of tissues & what seemed like a gallon of Vicks, but we're finally on the other side of it.

When I packed for our last trip to Iowa, I shared a suitcase with both girls & was limited to what I could pack.  It makes it a little tough & very strategic once bulky layers are involved.  I'm sharing all three outfits I packed, not including travel days, this week. This outfit was worn for a quick trip to Target, lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant, & over to a friends for a few beers...

Scarf (Piace Boutique)/ Boots (just Fab)/ Denim (Old Navy)/ All Else (F21)

Photo Friday: Leftovers

Leftovers from my work laptop on my last day of work before mat leave.  It's definitely a surreal feeling, almost identical to the day before I made the big move to Canada six years ago.  So far, it's looking like I'm going to get some much needed time to myself before little miss makes her big arrival...

A little bit of snow & a much smaller bump...
Free People 'Ruffle Up Tunic' that I ordered over the phone & ended up with the last one before restock
Maternity jeans (Target) are a godsend, especially when paired with these sparkly earrings (F21)
Buffalo Wild Wings take-out for football Sunday awhile back...
Iowa pride for the best season of college football I've ever seen them complete...
These sunnies...I am obsessed! Straight from The Gypsy's Wanderlust Boutique
Fringe-knit Cardigan I can't get enough of (Also from The Gypsy's Wanderlust)
These sparkly beauties, scored on mega sale (Zara)

When the Day Ends...

I took a super last minute trip to Iowa for one last visit before baby girl arrives (7 more weeks!!!), thus my brief absence.  Most of yesterday was spent driving, so today it's all about cozy layers & one my favorite scarves...

This scarf has quickly become a new favorite.  It's overly cozy & soft, not to mention the perfect color for fall...

Photo Friday: Elora

Rainy, fall weather & exploring a little more of Southern Ontario while my parents were here visiting.  We're really trying to cross some things off the list before our new family member arrives early next year...

The last covered bridge in Ontario (West Montrose, ON)
The "Kissing Bridge"
Elora, Ontario to see the Elora Gorge & all the fall foliage
Scarf (Piace Boutique)
Elora Gorge
Checked out the Elora Brewing Company
A sample flight (the apple spice ale smelled amazing)
Homemade fried chicken that was amazing...
New arrivals (most of which were for the nursery)
