Cannot believe it's finally Friday....this week has been one giant countdown for tomorrows trip to California. Nevertheless, it was a productive week that included a lot of packing, cleaning, last minute packages & a Jays game...

A Touch of Romance

Black lace emits this romantic vibe that I can't really describe with words.  Trying to dress for both the severe humidity outdoors & the arctic AC conditions indoors has been a task in itself, but I finally feel that I have a handle on it: a thin blouse, jeans, & a pair of heels help me maintain an optimal temperature in both environments...

Inspiration: Vacay Mode

All that has been on my mind for the past month is my upcoming trip to the west coast.  When you live so far away from most of the people that you're lucky enough to call best friends,  countdowns to when you get to see them next is what you live for.  I figured most of you guys would be taking some sort of vacation this summer, therefore I've thrown some inspiration together for all of us...

Date Night Attire

Every Friday night, the manpanion and I try to have a 'date night'.  Sometimes we stay in, but mostly we head somewhere for dinner and a few drinks to celebrate the start of the weekend.  I like to wear something casual, but with a slight dressy twist...like pairing this blouse with destroyed denim & keeping the accessories to a  minimum.
