Photo Friday: On Bottling Wine...

Last Saturday,  a friend let me tag along to "The Wine Cellar" to bottle some wine.  She had three different blends, a white & two reds.  It was so much fun filling, corking, sealing, & labeling all 90 bottles that it didn't even feel like work (the samples & snacks didn't hurt either).  If you're ever bored on a snowy Saturday, this is your place to go...

All the bottles, sanitized, rinsed, & ready to be filled.
The filling station (two bottles at once).
Taste-testing & snacking
The corking process
Seal color picked & ready to be melted on...
All packed up & ready to go home.
Our taste-testing glasses...oops ;)

Change is Good

So I got a little brave last Friday, walked into Halo hair salon, & chopped about 4 inches off my hair.  While it turned out a tad shorter than I would have preferred, change is good & in the end, it's only hair....it grows back ;)

A Layer of Pale Pink

Nothing breaks up an outfit compiled of basic neutrals better than a layer of pale pink.  I've reached that lack of creativity slump that comes this time of year, bored of winter clothes & too early to bring out anything spring related...

Photo Friday: Tour de Guelph

Last Saturday, I talked to manpanion into heading to Guelph to check out this boutique I've been wanting to visit for awhile now.  In order to get him to agree to shopping, I had to promise him a pint directly after.  I had never seen downtown Guelph, meaning what was meant to be a short visit quickly turned into a mini pub crawl & ended up being one fun time.  I encourage anyone who lives in the area to take an afternoon, let you inner college student out, & explore downtown Guelph!

Blush, one of the cutest boutiques I've ever visited

Temperature Drop

Hello, pink cheeks & frozen fingers.  These dropping temperatures are making it difficult to endure outfit posts, however, I'm not one to shy away from a challenge ;)
