October (Part One)

October is here! We kicked off the month in the best of ways- with early morning surprise bags for all three kiddos! I always get them some spooky leggings, pjs, & a halloween-themed book (I like giving books for holidays).  This time, I added some stickers & a few other small surprises.

We had family Thanksgiving (Canadian) at the cottage & it was the best way to spend the day, hands down.  We spent the rest of our days watching all three Hotel Transylvania movies with spooky treats & pjs.  I'm so thankful for another wonderful month of memories...

All ready for an early morning wake-up!
Zoey's bag in the making (from Chapters, Homesense, & Walmart).
Bo's bag in the making (from Walmart, Homesense, & Target Dollarspot)
Sadie's bag in the making (from Walmart, Target, Chapters, & Homesense).
Spooky snacks I was so happy to find in Canada (we usually never get holiday-themed treats).
This sweatshirt was the perfect sweatshirt for Halloween (via Shop Friday Apparel).
Movie marathons require spooky snacks (dvd via Walmart).
Picked up this beer on a whim on our last trip to Iowa...totally regretting not grabbing a few more 6 packs!
I've worn this outfit at least once a week since I got this sweatshirt (Hat: Target, Sweatshirt: Aerie, Shoes: Walmart).
I'm loving adding fun phrases to our letter board in the kitchen (thanks pinterest)!
Bo's first thanksgiving outfit, which he can totally wear for both (via Kohl's from gramma & papa).
My mom picked up these tees from Kohl's & I couldn't love them more!
Just added this faux fur rug to our entryway bench (pillowcase & rug via Amazon).
Wine supplies, ready for the big dinner (via Target Dollarspot & Kohl's).
Cottage views on Thanksgiving :)
A bonfire while eating pumpkin pie?! Is this heaven?! (scarf via Amazon).

Farewell, Favorite Month!

Saying farewell to September, in images. I cannot believe this was already two months ago & somehow, 2019 is almost over.  I am a fan of the holidays, but September will always be my favorite.  It's that mix of summer sunshine & cool nights, the return of football & sweaters, the changing of the leaves & the scenery it creates.  It's definitely magical to me, always has been...

First day of Fall outfit (sweater free people, sandals are F21).
So ready for Fall this year (the creamer is my all time fav & I stocked up big time this year).
First take at Apple Crisp...wasn't my mama's, that's for sure (better luck next time?).
Arts & crafts with the reject apples from the apple crisp.
GASP...another blanket scarf (via Amazon)!
The perfect sweatshirt...color, fit, and material...all perfect (via Aerie).
It's been a minute since I bought a hat, but this one was too good to pass up (via Target).
All the layers & thermal tops, please (thermal from Walmart).
Watertown, NY haul from Target & Walmart :)

Mid-Summer

More from summer.  This summer was filled with memories in our new city.  We've been having a blast exploring & spending loads of time with family.  The best part? Those last minute dinner invites that we could never do when we lived farther away.

Our first Ribfest in Peterborough. The only downfall? We missed out on the giant cobs of corn :(
These Free People embroidered dresses are so good that I have them in multiple colors!
We've really made a point to explore this year & get the kids out into the community :)
The Mr. surprised me with spicy pirogi pizza (via Boston Pizza) & I love him even more now...
Cloudy day beach scenery
Love allllll the time spent by the beach (Cardi: F21, Dress: Vici, Sandals: Birks).
A birthday gift for my SIL- an insulated beach bag with wine/plastic wine glasses, & giftcards inside (via Home Sense).
The beaches just keep comin' ;)
These sweet little toes on our sleepy little boy <3 br="">
Couldn't resist these sweet sandals for the girls (via Old Navy).
Day trip to Bobcaygeon to explore :)
This maxi dress, bought just for the occasion (via F21).
The girls loved these tee's & I can never pass up an excuse for souvenirs (via Bigley's).
Girls only road trip for a friend's bday party in our old neck of the woods :)
Birthday party outfit (Dress: J.Crew, Slides: Zara).
Our powder room make-over is finally complete (light fixture: Home Sense).
Rainy day activities to keep the girls busy!
Got the pool up & running, only for the weather to cool off :(
Sweet gifts for Bo from great friends!
Letter blocks found shopping around town one day.
Ready to hit the pool for the afternoon (sweatshirt: aerie).
A new fav dessert for the girls, DIY dirt cups!
The Mr.s Brother just bought a cottage on an island...insert myself here!
