Photo Friday: Reasons to Celebrate

Last weekend we celebrated my best friend's graduation from nursing school with cake, a Blue Jays game, & drinks.  Then she told us she accepted her first nursing job, so we celebrated with lunch at the Loose Moose & more drinks.  Other reasons to celebrate last week? The Blackhawks are off to game 7 & all my items I ordered for Nashville have finally arrived...

Congrats Nurse Shannon :)

Rainbow-Brite

Overcompensating for missing yesterday's post.  I have been taking the extra time in the mornings to nap or play with the dogs (Duncan likes to wake up at 5:30 AM most days), as opposed to providing blog-worthy outfits.  I've been waiting to show you these shoes for weeks, so perfect for summer...

Into the Dark

Rainy weather calls for end-of-spring essentials from yesterday's post.  I wore something like this for our last rainy day spent in Boston, which worked out perfectly.  I've started adding to the navy section in my closet & obviously love pairing it with black...

One Fly Away

Last week's details & loving the combination of things in this outfit.  Free people tunic in a summery hue, kicked up a notch when paired with these Zara earrings & lace up sandals.  Plus my Ray Bans, so cohesive...

Free People

I've gone through phases when it comes to the Free People brand.  I've always liked the whimsical, boho-vibe their items create, but find most to be severely overpriced.  Recently, I had a change of heart & splurged on a few tunics that have hardly left my body...

Photo Friday: Boston (Part 3)

The third & final installment of photos from our Boston adventure.  Day three was filled with history, seafood, & beer.  We followed the entire brick-lined Freedom Trail all morning, had a taste of 'chowdah' with lunch, toured Harpoon Brewery, & ended the night at Cheers!

I never tire of seeing the American flag...
