Holiday Dressing: Company Luncheon

Our company luncheon was held a few Friday afternoons ago at a small pub downtown, where we were served three courses.  After, we were treated to a few hours of 5-pin bowling & a few pints.  I chose this outfit specifically because it worked for both activities.  Dressy enough to wear to a holiday lunch, as well as functional to bowl in (plus, there was the added bonus of seeing what sequins look like under black light)...

Holiday Dressing: Dinner Party

In the spirit of Christmas week, I've decided to dedicate each day to a different holiday outfit.  This outfit was worn to the Mr.'s company dinner a few Saturday's ago.  I was shocked to see how short this dress was when I opened the box, which means I had to improvise & it quickly became a top.  Toss on some sparkly jewels, metallic heels, & a classic red lip for an easy holiday look...

Photo Friday: Happy Happy Happy Holidays

Last weekend....dedicated to new arrivals, holiday outfit planning, & last minute shopping.  We had our company luncheon last week at Cafe 13, directly followed by bowling with coworkers.  The remainder of the weekend was spent shopping around for our joint gift & finishing some house projects...

Coffee to Cocktails

We've all heard the advice on how to transition the same outfit from day to night.  However, I don't see anything wrong with taking the same outfit from coffee to cocktails without swapping anything.  A little sparkle, some gold hardware, a silk blouse, & an edgy pair of heels does the trick...
