These days it's all about basics! Simple layers in light-weight fabrics with some killer accessories.  I bought this cross body as my new 'mom bag'.  It's small enough to carry easily with a diaper bag (can't wait to show you, I LOVE it) & all the other necessities little miss is going to require...

Blue Tones on a Rainy Day

Today I start my last week of work before Mat leave & I couldn't be more excited to start this next chapter with a new title: mama! I shot these over the weekend, when the temperature was moderate & rainy (we're now experiencing full-out winter, with snow, wind, & ice).  This poncho...I can't say enough about it.  It's been a lifesaver through my pregnancy! Something so simple & comfortable, yet stylish enough to make this ever-changing body of mine feel put-together...

Photo Friday: This is 30...

A few snapshots from my low-key, 9 months prego 30th birthday.  Hats off to my hubster, who pulled out all the stops to make the day extra special.  He sure does know how to treat a girl...

We took full advantage of our groupon arcade activities- a mirror maze, mini golf, & a haunted house.

This bath tub was HEAVEN! It was only luke warm for the baby, but still so worth it...

The hubster got me bathbombs from LUSH, this one had confetti in it :)

Dinner at The Keg was fantastic.  The restaurant overlooks both sides of Niagara Falls, which was really neat.

My mother-in-law always makes me a birthday meal.  This year's request was her french onion soup...it's the best!

Floral Crochet

Winter is finally here, we have snow & below freezing temps! Side note: every shirt I own is quickly becoming a belly top, it was only a matter of time I suppose.  I have been wearing these arm warmers non-stop (they go with so much it's kinda hard to resist tossing them on) & they really are perfect for my commute to work...
