I found this barn on my drive home from work yesterday & luckily, I was able to sneak these photos in before the weather took a turn for the worse. However, the weather has been on its best behavior for the middle of November & I am enjoying the background diversity in my posts as of late. My outfit remains cozy & casual with plenty of layers, the kind of outfit that can be worn out-and-about or lounging around the house...

Head Over Heels

This is what happens when rough & rugged meets a smidgen of silk & sparkle. I bought these satin mary janes several winters ago & have never felt more enamored by a pair of heels in my life.  In a brilliant shade of paradise blue, they don't put forth much effort to gain the attention of a crowded room. As I was reorganizing my closet this past weekend, I came across several silk scarves I purchased on my last trip to China. The one I chose to wear today slipped off the top shelf, landed next to these heels, & viola...instant outfit inspiration...

The Fog

Look how eerily foggy it was this morning! Since the temperature is still somewhat cooperating for outdoor outfit posts, I'm desperately trying to take advantage of it.  Today, my outfit is a fairly routine combination of black, white, & gray, but with an added punch of magenta :)  I dress according to mood more than anything & the weather is a huge influence on my mood, thus the overwhelming amounts of gray & black clothing this time of year...

You Are The Best Thing That's Ever Been Mine...

And cue sappy love song because today marks our First Wedding Anniversary, I can't believe how quickly this year has passed us by. Since we technically celebrated last weekend in Toronto, today will be spent watching some football, making a pitcher of Miami Vice's, & ordering wings from our favorite place. Here's to many more years just like this past one...
