A Top That Sparkles

When the October Lookbook for Zara was released, I immediately fell for this sweatshirt.  I love the versatility of it, how it can effortlessly be dressed down during the day or paired with a dressier pant for an evening out.  Can't beat a sweatshirt & jeans combo in my book...

Inspiration: Bedazzled

Two bedazzled-to-perfection items that have been haunting my dreams since their release.  Multiple trips to Toronto were made soon after in which I ended up empty handed & determined.  This in turn led to various follow-up phone calls on delivery days with no success and eventually ended up with yet another Ebay-saves-the-day scenario.  Stay tuned for tomorrow's post to see which one of these is tucked away nicely in my closet...

I'm always very leery when buying flat boots.  Although more practical, I usually ignore them and reach for their heeled counterparts.  When these arrived, a similar situation happened- they were worn out of excitement for a week straight & then left to gather dust....until it was concluded that they went with everything I own!

Unapologetically Thankful

Thanksgiving is always a reminder to me of what really matters.  I'm so thankful for the home the manpanion & I have built, the people in my life who mean more to me than some of them will ever know, my family/friends that go great lengths (and miles) just to see us, the crazy dogs that make me smile/laugh every day, & the addition of these new red suede ankle boots & plaid shirt ;)  Wishing all of you a safe & happy Thanksgiving holiday weekend!

Wake Me Up

I'm actually excited it's Monday for once.  It's American Thanksgiving this Thursday, which means visitors, turkey, & football.  I've sort of neglected these heels, which seems silly considering the bidding war I endured to make them mine.  In an attempt to make up for lost time, I paired them with a cozy floral house coat from Anthro & a new pair of light-wash denim...
