Inspiration: Elaborate Nails

I've always loved the idea of intricate designs painted on my fingers and/or toes.  So much so that I even had a how-to book when I was younger for basic designs.  I know they make it even easier these days, what with nail art pens, but let's be honest- after a long day at work, who has the time/energy to spend hours doodling on your nails? Ok so maybe this isn't for me, but I sure do appreciate all the effort these ladies exerted to achieve the below designs...

Winter Tropics

Neon Pink Accents

Happy Weekend! This weekend will be used as an attempt to establish a normal routine again (cleaning, running, etc.).  However, the dropping temperatures & wind chill are all the excuse I need to hibernate all weekend under a warm duvet (after all above tasks are completed of course).  A few new arrivals is all to report for this week ;)

Beyond Repair

I somehow continually manage to surprise myself when cheaply-made clothing doesn't last as long as I think it should.  For instance, when one purchases (for arguments sake)  a pair of leopard-printed denim for $21.95 & is devastated when it doesn't last as long as its more expensive counterpart.  I fell head over heels for the J.Brand equivalent, but just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on leopard-printed denim (not to mention the grief  I would have gotten from the manpanion).  After 10 or so washes, these jeans have completely broken down & hardly hold form long enough for me to blow dry my hair in the morning!  Does this happen to anyone else out there???
