Neon Pink Accents

Creature of Habit

Confessions from Barbie

I'll just come right out & confess my addiction to fuzzy sweaters.  I've picked up a bunch over the past few years & each time I wear one, it reminds me of being wrapped in a blanket.  Something about this Barbie-pink version just felt right on a less than ideal weather day.  In the spirit of experimenting with texture, I decided to pair Barbie with a pair of faux leather pants for a change & of course, my pink Wang heels....

Peep These

The sunshine on Saturday required a subtle addition of floral peep toe heels & a light weight spring jacket.  Tossed on over a vintage fuzzy sweater, I adorned my jacket with several floral pins (all originally required for hair use) to compliment the blurred floral print on my heels.  Close your eyes. Now, imagine having such beautiful heels in your closet for months without being able to wear them due to winter weather conditions. Not only can you not wear them, but you are forced to look at them every time you open your closet door to select a pair of boots to wear instead. This is my very definition of torture....

Pretty In Pink

Today, I combined pink, pink, & more pink. I've been told I go through 'color moods', to that I won't object. Although not as vibrant a shade as previously posted, these shades of pink serve as a reminder that spring will arrive...just don't pay attention to those lingering snowbanks outside...

I Wear My Heart On My Stocking

Another Valentine's inspired outfit worn over the weekend....snapped these photos before all that beautiful sunlight transformed into dark shades of gray.  Slightly dressier & a bit more risque than what I normally wear, but the playful heart-printed tights & pink blazer definitely help balance out the sheer material & body con skirt.

A Box of Crayons

I found this vintage secretary blouse on etsy about a month ago.  I love the stripes, the fit, & the muted pastel color palette. However, I am considering the addition of shoulder pads just out of my love for them.   Definitely loving this new trend of using laptop cases & cosmetic pouches as clutch purses...

Sparkle Week: Glitter Girl (4)

Today concludes both SPARKLE week & my work week.  I can only hope that all the sequins & glitter helped get you into the holiday spirit like it did for me :)  Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, which means we'll be packing & running around like crazy to go visit family a few hours away.  There will be a decadent dinner & drinks awaiting us, along with excited children fighting sleep for Santa's arrival....I love this time of year with our nieces & nephews!
