Such a whirlwind trip back to the Midwest last weekend with the Mr., as well as a wonderful introduction to several hidden gems in Iowa City (thanks to K & K).  We left last Thursday night & stayed until this past Tuesday- here's a glimpse of what we were up to...

Inspiration: Double the Pearls

I'm back....& with double the pearls.  I took a short break from blogging, mostly because a few days without technology (aside from my camera) does wonders.  I'm not big into pearls, always found them a little too polished & preppy for me personally.  However, double pearls on a single piece of jewelry? Genius.

Victoria Day Pub Crawl

In honor of the fact that I get to enjoy two long weekends in a row, I decided to share some photos from Victoria Day Monday.  The Mr. & I went on an impromptu mini pub crawl, which involved stopping at numerous bar & grills for a pint before moving on to the next.  It was too nice of a day to not enjoy some much over due patio time...
