Corset-Inspired

Long ago, the corset was deemed one of the hardest & most painful-to-wear pieces.  I've personally seen this trend resurface several times over the years- first, as club wear paired with skin-tight denim & boots (Ick! Shiver! Shutter!); again worn solo under open jackets (far too daring for me), & finally worn over bulkier items such as long tees & tanks or paired with tapered trousers & blazers (At last, something I can try!). I love how this turned out...the mixed shades of grey, the different textures, & the fact that it was completely comfortable & functional for a Saturday afternoon didn't hurt either...

Blazer (Asos), Corset (Aritzia), Grey Tee (H&M), Scarf (F21)
Pearl bracelets (H&M)
