How fitting, considering Miss Zo & I made the trek all by ourselves to Iowa yesterday.  These photos aren't quite as recent, dating all the way back to May, but I'm sharing any way.  I'm taking full advantage of my time on Mat leave by heading back here as much as possible...

Three Months Weathered

Three months weathered, meaning this outfit is three months old.  We woke up to crazy thunder & lightening last night, which meant I was able to snuggle my mini a little longer while she slept in.  I cannot get over this poncho from my friend's boutique in my hometown.  I have worn it so many way times & it always makes my outfit.  We're almost all caught up with outfit posts, thanks for letting me share what I had always meant to...

Photo Friday: Some Firsts for This Family of Five

Back in the beginning of May, we made the trek as a family of 5 (both dogs in tow) on our first epic road trip to Iowa.  The dogs coming with us was a last minute add on, therefore we made the hasty decision to upgrade vehicles…two days before we hit the road!  I celebrated my first Mother's Day with my mom in more than five years & Zoey had a ton of firsts in my favorite place.  Since then, we've been there once a month & it seems that schedule will stick until mat leave is over...

Daily Dose

Your daily dose of new mama wardrobe. I have lived in these layers since last fall, especially this thermal tunic & this ruffled tunic from free people.  I ended up with only 5 items that were deemed 'maternity'. Good news, I can wear everything all over again...bad news? You might get sick of it. As always, I keep this blog honest by posting what I actually wear...

Little Adventures

Little adventures from several months ago.  I make a plan each morning to try to get out of the house, even if it's only for a walk around the neighborhood with the stroller.  I've officially been off work for 6 months, which surprisingly feels like only one & already has me dreading going back...
