I'm so relieved striped denim didn't go off trend, although I'm not sure that would stop me from wearing these again any way. I paired these 'beetle juice pants' with a neon knit to break up the black & white monotonousness, through on my perspex-heeled boots for fun, & tossed on a ball cap for the finishing touch...

Pretty In Pink

Today, I combined pink, pink, & more pink. I've been told I go through 'color moods', to that I won't object. Although not as vibrant a shade as previously posted, these shades of pink serve as a reminder that spring will arrive...just don't pay attention to those lingering snowbanks outside...

Figure Skaters

Newly acquired Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2007 Figure Skater ankle boots.  I've been after these babies for awhile now, originally searching for the black & taupe version only to discover a deeper obsession with the gray & cream pair.  I paired them with a chunky knit, light-wash skinny jeans, & nail polish in the shade of 'cocoa' to fit the whole wintery-figure skating theme...

Playing With Texture

Snow, snow, & more snow is falling as I type.  Bare with me, I've been complaining about the weather more and more as of late.  You should know that it really has nothing to do with the weather itself, but how the weather forces me to dress.  I'm getting bored of my sweater collection & just throwing on whatever I can find to stay warm.  Hence my desire to create an outfit composed of all different fabrics & textures.  Task completed? I would say so....

Casual Comfort

We've been having some unbearably cold days and I have been literally chilled to the bone. This problem calls for Extreme Layering! Basically, this means I grab as many chunky, warm pieces as I can put on & try to make it look half way decent. I will be the first to admit that this isn't the most fashionable of outfits, but it was one of the warmest combos I've put together yet! Happy Wednesday :)
