What's New Wednesday

What's new this week? Check it out below :)  I will admit, this aren't 100% new this week, but they are new around here...

Took the girls to the mall on a whim after naps & scored this sweater under $25 (Zara)!

I'm really starting to put my accessories to use these days, probably because my outfits have become so simple (F21)...

These thermal...I'm obsessed! The color, the softness, the thumb holes? It's perfect for spring (via free people)!

DIY Beer cake supplies for the Mr.'s bday...I have another one of these in the works currently ;)

Delicate

I came across this sweatshirt as I was randomly chasing my toddler through target last time we were in Iowa.  It was in the pj section, which means it's cozy af & the perfect piece for wrapping up mat leave.  It's girly, delicate, & uber functional, which is exactly how I envisioned styling it (especially with these earrings).  I figured I'd better share this outfit asap, since it was styled with a winter coat that is no longer necessary...

Better Than This

Does it get much better than this? Not for this mama. I’ve been wearing this free people thermal a ton lately, the color is just this perfect shade of cobalt. I first gave this outfit a spin when we went to the hospital to meet our sweet nephew (I packed a lot of blue for just that reason) & have since worn it to numerous playgroups with the girls. Casual perfection & optimal outfit opportunity, shout out to the Easter Bunny for this one 😘.

Photo Friday: Late Night Egg Hiding & a Visit From the Easter Bunny

Happy Friday! The first week of May is coming to an end & my days home with the littles are numbered, like under twenty numbered!  I'm trying to get ahead with content, but getting it edited, posted, & published seems to be the problem to blogging consistently.  Case in point: today's post is dedicated to Easter (lol).  Super relevant at this point, right? It was a special Easter for us though, Sadie's first & Zoey's first eggy hunt :). The Mr. & I had three bottles of wine waiting for the rain to quit outside, our intention being to hide the eggs in the backyard so we wouldn't have to do it in the dark in the morning.  The rain never let up, so we hid them around the main floor instead (which totally worked out better any way).  Thanks for allowing me to share these type of posts, even if it's not what you originally signed up for in following along with this space!

Attended the Life With a Baby Easter Party & the girls had a blast!

We were the only ones to bring our own bunny ears :)

My mom bought these for Zoey & she had a blast putting them together (felt cutouts with adhesive via Target).

The girls each got new swimsuits, a tradition I'm carrying down from my own childhood :)

I tried out the easter bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls...they turned out decent, enough that Zoey knew it was a 'hoppy'.

Low-key Easter this year! We stayed home all day, sipped our coffee, & played with Easter eggs!
