Pattern Party

If you would have asked me three months ago if I would ever be caught dead in something this attention grabbing I would have told you DEFINITELY NOT. This statement alone continues to be one of the reasons fashion still captivates me....one day you can be dressed very plainly & the next, running around in a jumpsuit straight from the '70s.  Since this jumpsuit incorporates such a powerful pattern, I kept the rest of my outfit simple by adding a basic cardigan, black heels, & a vintage nude clutch.

Tie-Dyed

I wore a similar version of this outfit for a quick visit to Chicago while I was back in the midwest. Sadly, since it was such a quick trip, I didn't manage to get any photos of just my outfit. Turband Me On

Rain, rain go away... you're giving me awful hair days! My solution? A turband to help hide the natural waves & frizz this constant wet weather has created.  Because I own a very colorful and printed turband, I opted to keep the rest of my outfit neutral.  After all, turbands were made to draw attention...

Fresh Fruit

Just a simple outfit consisting of wardrobe staples thrown together for a quick dinner at one of my favorite mexican restaurants.  I needed a fairly solid base to add my fun/wacky banana jewelry & these studded heels I scored on Ebay awhile back.  Are you guys into the fruit trend? I'm really loving it in the smallest of doses...

Easy Like Monday Morning

This poor dress has been stuck in the back of my closet ever since I received it as a gift.  I'm not a fan of the smocked top (not very flattering), but really enjoy the print.  Instead of donating it to Goodwill, I decided to alter it into a maxi skirt.  I topped it off with a Sweatshirt top for a no-fuss, casual look- completely necessary after being trapped in my car for 9hrs.yesterday...
