Either Or

I've worn this vest twice since I dyed it to resemble Isabel Marant's version (see how I made it here). Worn in Halifax for the first time, I dressed it down for a long day of drinking at a local pub & this time, I've dressed it up a bit more.  Last time you saw this sheer skirt, it was a dress (see it here)...I just chopped the top half off & viola. Which outfit do you prefer?

WISH And You Shall Have!

The S/S 2011 collection for WISH, an Australian fashion label designed by the uber talented Annette Cannock Wish, incorporates a vibrant color palette & beautifully unique prints.  New to the label, I discovered the versatility that each garment brings to its' owners wardrobe.  I love the girly, romantic vibe the label creates & how easily each piece can be styled for any occasion.  So when I received the Mercutio Cami in mint, it was hard not to wear it immediately.  Although I've styled it for winter, I can't wait for warmer weather to really show it off.  Check out the collection here (modeled by the beautiful Katrina Bowdens) & I highly suggest picking up a piece!  A pop of color & bold print are just what the doctor ordered to cure those winter blues....

Wearing: Blazer & grey tank (H&M)/ Top (WISH)/ Leggings & belt (Ebay)/
Cardigan (F21)/ Ring (Costa Rica)/ Watch (Casio)/ Necklace (Dogeared)

Copy Cat: Green & Colbalt Blue

I must say that this color combination is the least off the wall for me, as the rest of Refinery 29's Unexpected Color Combo's were definitely more creative & uncanny. The article (seen here) showcases a model from Jil Sander's Spring 2011 show wearing a double jacket combo paired with black trousers. Since I do not personally own any jackets in these shades, I decided to do the next best thing....cardigan over cardigan! I love the layering combination, but it was a must to add the scarf & boots for winter weather :)

Wearing: Cardi's, Scarf, & Tee (F21)/ Skinny's (Asos)/ Boots (Ebay)/
Ring & wood bracelets (H&M)/ Colored bracelet (Costa Rica)
