Friday Florals

Wore this several  Fridays ago to run some errands.  I'm not a huge fan of leggings, due to their ability to be confused as pants by the general public. And I get it- they're comfortable & belong to that grey area of classy sweat pants/dressed up gym-wear.  I just have one simple rule for leggings: If your backside remains covered, by all means, knock yourselves out...

Sun vs. Clouds

You may notice a slight difference in the lighting of these photos.  I was having a tough time trying to get the camera and the sun to coordinate long enough to snap a photo.  This outfit may seem like an odd pairing, but I just envisioned it one morning and it just worked...

The Second Time Around

I initially purchased this DVF Parisse top on Shopbop the minute it went on sale.  I love the mixed prints & the lace detailing around the top.  Before I even had a chance to hang it up in my closet, my lovely puppy ripped it to shreds.  Once again, Ebay came to my rescue...

On the Fence

I was initially on the fence on whether I should actually buy these flats, as they were a bit pricey for flats (in my opinion).  I also have a rule while shopping: If the item in question cannot be easily styled in 5 different ways, then I don't allow myself to buy it.  Instead of thinking about what I could wear these with, I was trying to think of what I couldn't wear them with...

Gucci-Inspired

So many great collections hit the runways for Spring/Summer 2011.  Amongst my favorites, Gucci & Jil Sander really stood out.  I was enamored with all the bright hues, the color blocking, the bright-stained lips, & minimal accessories.  See the look that inspired today's outfit here.
