'Tis The Season for GIVEAWAYS! (Closed)

As most of you are aware, I braved the cold, crowds, & mayhem to get my hands on a few pieces of the coveted Lanvin for H&M Collection (seen here, here, & here).  I was doing a slight closet clean-up several days ago, deciding where to put several things when I came across the canvas shopping bag & navy scarf that were given to me for shopping the collection.  Sadly, I will never put them to use, so I decided that everyone should have a chance to own a little piece of Lanvin for H&M (I wish I was able to give away a tee or dress from the collection, so I apologize if this seems a little lame). Copycat: Maroon & Fuchsia

Instantly inspired by a recent article viewed on Refinery29.com (read it here),  I had no trouble pairing two very unlikely items in my closet together.  Instead of pairing the colors from one of their four suggested combos, I took all eight colors & started mentally mixing them around in my head.  The outcome? A perfect outfit to celebrate the beginning of the weekend. You will definitely be seeing more posts inspired by this article ;)

Why is it that whenever I feel like sporting leather, I instantly feel that I should be jumping on the back of a Harley?! That, I really couldn't tell ya, but what I do know is that leather is WARM & a must have for layering this time of year. Because I was finally defeating my cold, I headed to the gym last night for the first time in a week (yikes I know).  Feeling energized, I decided to try out one of my new nail polish arrivals.  I love this pop of color against an otherwise monotone ensemble. My apologies for the tardiness of this post, I had severe camera trouble this morning (meaning mine broke), so I had to borrow one :(

Casual Glamour

'Tis the season for sparkle! Just like most of us, I am drawn to sequins, sparkles, & lush fabrics once December arrives. Bring on warm peppermint lattes, freshly baked cookies, endless present wrapping, & Christmas movies played repeatably. My cold remains bothersome, so today's outfit was sort of thrown together with as many layers as possible.  Happy December 1st Guys :)
