You Know When You Know

This poncho has been a favorite of mine for almost four years now.  It's taken me, comfortably, through three pregnancies, 3 fall seasons, & several bonfires when the weather reaches my favorite temperature.  It pairs so well & the print isn't too 'in your face' or noticeable that it can't be worn multiple times within a small time frame.  Everything I've accumulated since then also seems to be within the same color scheme...major points for these cost per wear scenarios that work out in my favor.

All Caught Up

For once, I am all caught up with sharing what's new in our world.  Since I was too lazy to post on Monday, I'm making up for it with an outfit post today.  Be forewarned- you are about to see a whole lot of this cardigan.  I kept it back purposely for like 6 outfit posts I had in mind, which pretty much gets me into the new house & reunited with my full wardrobe.  I got this tunic for my sis-in-law's baby shower just over a year ago & sadly, it's become neglected.  It's a beautiful shade of burgundy & I've already imagined in styled for fall with tights, OTK boots, & an even chunkier cardigan.  A little too dark of a color scheme for spring, but I really liked it...

The March Capsule Collection

My closet is officially all packed up & ready for the move! Although it's still a few weeks away (17 days to be exact), I'm trying to do my part by packing closets, drawers, & cupboards.  We've been doing a form of extreme spring cleaning, purging everything we haven't touched in the 7 years we've been in our current home, my closet being no exception.  Outfits will be pretty limited moving forward, even more so since less & less is fitting the way it's suppose to at this point in pregnancy.  I'm liking this challenge...

Photo Friday: Baby Boy Update

Happy Friday! Is it just me, or did this week fly?! I decided to dedicate today's post to an update on our sweet, growing boy.  The nursery decor & baby supply lists are dwindling, with items being crossed off daily.  My hospital bag is pretty much packed (I have a few last minute items to toss in this weekend), he has a name, & we are pre-registered at both hospitals (just in case).  We've planned a little day trip to visit friends this weekend, since it's the last weekend for suggested travel.  Here's a few sneak peeks into the nursery theme...

Really getting some use out of my letter boards lately (via Target, sleeper via Old Navy).

Baby essentials: swaddle blankets, bedding, & receiving blankets (all from target).

Baby blanket (via etsy) & Baby brother cap + swaddle (Amazon) for the hospital :)

More receiving & swaddles, can't have too many with a newborn! The girls still sleep with their original swaddles :)
